Nazzic Keene's professional journey began after completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) at the University of Arizona. The University of Arizona, located in Tucson, is a public research university that has produced notable alumni across various fields, including business, science, and politics.

Electronic Data Systems (EDS)

Keene's early career was at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where she served as Regional Vice President for the Global Telecommunications Business. EDS, founded by Ross Perot, was an American multinational information technology equipment and services company headquartered in Plano, Texas. At EDS, Keene was responsible for developing the Tier II Interexchange Carrier Market Segment and was involved in sales, marketing, P&L management, and human resource functions.

American Management Systems (AMS)

Keene then moved to American Management Systems (AMS), where she was a Senior Vice President & Managing Executive Director. AMS was a high-end information technology and management consulting firm that provided a wide range of consulting services. During her tenure, Keene led the Global Consulting and Services Practice for the Communications, Media, and Entertainment industries, achieving a successful organizational turnaround of the European business.


In 2004, following the acquisition of AMS by CGI, Keene joined CGI as a Senior Vice President & General Manager and became a member of CGI's Global Executive Committee. CGI is a Canadian global information technology consulting and systems integration company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. Keene played a pivotal role in leading the company's U.S. expansion, overseeing strategic operations in various industries, and contributing to significant revenue growth through business unit roll-ups.


Keene's most notable role was at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation), a premier technology integrator headquartered in Reston, Virginia. SAIC provides full lifecycle services and solutions in technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets, primarily serving U.S. federal government clients.

President, Global Markets and Missions Sector

Keene joined SAIC in 2012 as the President of the Global Markets and Missions Sector. In this role, she had executive responsibility for customer relationship management, strategic business pipeline expansion, growth, and program execution across the enterprise.

Chief Operating Officer

In 2017, Keene was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of SAIC. As COO, she oversaw all daily operations of the corporation and its long-term strategy for sustained profitable growth.
