Roy Blair is a California-based singer-songwriter who began his career as an affiliate of the hip-hop collective Brockhampton. He initially gained recognition for singing backup with Brockhampton's Kevin Abstract and later contributed vocals to several tracks on Abstract's sophomore album, "American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story." Blair wrote his first song in the fifth grade and by the 2010s, he was performing as a backup singer on Kevin Abstract's tour supporting the same album.

Blair's debut solo single "HELP" was released in 2015, followed by "Thunder," "Perfume," and "Jane" in 2016. These tracks were included in his 2017 full-length debut album "Cat Heaven," which features a blend of lo-fi dream pop and hip-hop beats. The album was produced with the help of Lontalius and Brockhampton members Joba, Bearface, and Romil.
